Michelle Renee Smith, 61, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday December 21, 2025.

Born in California on May 26, 1964, she was the daughter of Syliva James and the late Jonas Alvarez.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her Son: Donnie Smith: Daughters: Renee Smith and Kris Durbin; Brothers: Michael Lowry, Danny Lowry, Thomas Lowry, and Jonas Alvarez Jr.; Sisters: Angie Beam and Kelly Cox; and Grandchildren: Karissa Henderson, Tyasia Smith, Morgan Smith, Amber Smith, Charles Durbin, and Elijah Durbin.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
