Orene Elrod, 85, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Helen, GA on March 28, 1930; she was the daughter of the late John and Leon Sims.
She is survived by her husband Howard Elrod; children: Randy Elrod, Wanda McCullough, and Karen Crowe and husband Tommy; brother Phillip Sims; sister Virginia York; 5 grandchildren: Brian Elrod, April and Blake McCullough, Hannah and Lauren Crowe; and 3 great-grandchildren: Kinsley Elrod, Jordan and Randy Hurt.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by a brother and 4 sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2pm officiated by Rev. Ronnie James at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
